Tommaso Ciampa is one of the most dominating forces on the NXT roster. His takes matter as much as the greats on the main rosters themselves. While the world is mourning the loss of the classic NXT logo, Ciampa holds the contrary opinion.

Ciampa told Fightful that he doesn’t mind the new logo, and instead is very excited about more things to come with the revamp. Since he’s been with the group since 2015, his take holds a lot of weight.

It’s exciting. Change, sometimes, is for the best. Everyone has been keeping a tight lid on it and I don’t know what to expect. I believe the first live show will be (September 14) with whatever the new look and image is. The overall feeling seems to be excitement.

The NXT Superstar added that while there are a lot of new attributes to it, “it’s still the same.” He said the sameness comes from the same companions and officials working on the brand.

It’s new, different, fresh, and at the same time, it’s the same. NXT is NXT. Same roster, same group of guys and girls in the back who will go out there and give their best. Same people behind the scenes. It’s hard to say right now, if it’s just a new paint job or what it is, but it’s exciting at the very least,

The 36-year old recently said that he would rather retire than go onto the main roster. While he recently teased his reunion with former tag team partner Johnny Gargano.
