Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax received a lot of attention for the shoot-style spot that they did in their match on Monday Night Raw. It left many people wondering if the spot was planned or if both women went off-script.

WWE Producer D-Von Dudley commented on the bout in his Table Talk podcast and revealed that Nia and Flair handled it well and it didn’t lead to anything backstage after their encounter in the ring.

He added that if WWE decided to book a rematch between the two stars, it would be box office. He also explained that what happened was a misunderstanding.

“I love both those ladies and wish them nothing but the best. If they have another built up match, you best believe people are going to be watching. That’s one of the great things about what happened on Monday. When these two do get a rematch, people will be watching that and will want to see every little thing. I guarantee people will be nitpicking and watching every single move. The two ladies had a misunderstanding, they solved it, and now we move on.”

Charlotte Flair is currently the Raw Women’s Champion, and it wouldn’t be surprising if she began feuding with The Irresistible Force over the title. The Queen was originally set to have a program with Alexa Bliss, but things were changed after Vince McMahon rewrote the show.
