CM Punk made his return to professional wrestling at AEW Rampage: The First Dance in Chicago. Punk’s in ring return match is scheduled for AEW All Out against Darby Allin. With Punk seven years from his last match, many wonder what they will see from Punk at All Out.

Since his AEW debut Punk has been discussed by everyone involved in wrestling. Punk in AEW has even gotten television news coverage, rarely seen for wrestling. Chicago news outlet WGN News gave coverage and got an interview with Punk.

Punk said in the interview that fans can expect to see a different CM Punk than what they’ve seen before. Punk made reference to his age and how he plans on being no less entertaining.

“And I think that’s what you’re going to see. It’s a different CM Punk. You’re for sure going to see a guy who realizes that this probably has a time limit on it. I’m 42 years old, so let’s go. Let’s try to have fun and let’s enjoy the moment and let’s enjoy this silly thing we all love called professional wrestling. Seven years is a long time and I’m a different person. That doesn’t mean I’m going to be any less entertaining.”
