Paige hasn’t wrestled since December 27th, 2017, but she has a huge urge to make her way back to the squared circle. Her neck is healthy and she is mentally ready. Now she plans to get herself back in the ring and see what she can do.

The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion formed many allies in pro wrestling, including AJ Lee. CM Punk’s wife trended after the Second City Savior made his big AEW Rampage debut, because fans want to see her return to action as well. Paige might be right there with them, but she isn’t going to debut on the same night as AJ Lee.

During her recent Twitch stream, Paige was asked about the possibility of returning to the ring when AJ Lee does. There is no guarantee that AJ Lee will return to action, but Paige made that promise for herself. She also said that her return to the ring will be a surprise.

“If AJ comes back, that would be a separate occasion. You can’t have two massive comebacks in one day. I’m not going to tell you if I am going to return, but when I do — and I’m saying when because I fucking am — when I do, I will not tell you. It will be a surprise.”

She also addressed the possibility of leaving WWE and she made it very clear that is not going to happen. “I’m not leaving WWE, not that I know of [laughs]. Did I get fired? I’m still working for WWE. My contract isn’t up yet. I love the WWE.”

Paige’s contract is set to expire in June, 2022. A lot of things can happen in that period of time. It will be very interesting to see what Paige decides to do next, but she has also made her name, “Saraya,” a valuable commodity with name recognition as well.
