Paige isn’t wrestling anymore after suffering a neck injury that cost her career years of action. She is still under contract with WWE, but not an active Superstar. That contract is expiring sooner than some thought.

The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion revealed on her Twitch stream that her WWE contract is up in June, 2022. That gives a lot less time with the company than what was previously reported.

“My contract is up in June of next year. Who knows if they would want to give me a new contract? Who’s to say they would want to? If they did, I’d love to have Twitch as a part of the contract.”

PW Insider previously reported that Paige was locked into a WWE deal through 2023, but that is not the case. She signed a multi-year contract at around the time that WWE Backstage kicked off in 2019. At the time, they had something for her to do on camera, but that show is no longer a reality. So, we’ll have to see what Paige does in the meantime.

In case you’re wondering, Paige still operates her Saraya Twitch channel and is having a wonderful time with that lucrative endeavor.
