Brock Lesnar returned at SummerSlam to step up and stand face to face with Roman Reigns. His WWE contract previously ran out after last year’s WrestleMania, and he just made that shocking return. Lesnar hasn’t been involved in a match yet, but it’s only a matter of time. The Beast Incarnate’s deals also don’t come cheap and he doesn’t like to work very often either.

According to a report from Fightful Select, word going around is that Brock Lesnar is locked into a deal where he will wrestle roughly eight matches over the next year and a half. We will have to see if he is carrying a title during that time.

Those within WWE that we spoke to are under the impression that Lesnar is under contract for “roughly a year and a half, and at least 8 matches,” though that is always available to change and negotiate further.

Lesnar was away from WWE for 16 months and he returned with a new look and a babyface character. We will have to see what happens in his feud with Roman Reigns, but Lesnar’s attention might be diverted elsewhere by the time those eight matches are over.
