We’re 48 hours removed from WWE SummerSlam and tonight’s RAW will feature all of the fallout. Bobby Lashley retained the Universal Championship against Goldberg after the Hall of Famer was unable to continue. However it seems the feud will continue after Goldberg’s son was attacked in the aftermath. Do we get the rematch at Extreme Rules? Or is that saved for the Royal Rumble? We’ll find out tonight.

RK-Bro won the RAW Tag Team Championship’s from AJ Styles and Omos at SummerSlam, and tonight Riddle promises a big celebration. Elsewhere, Logan Paul returns to WWE where he will be a guest on Moist TV, and Rhea Ripley teams with Nikki Cross to face Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. Karrion Kross lost his NXT Championship to Samoa Joe last night, so chances are he will now be a mainstay on RAW, and we can expect more from New Day, RAW Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair, and others.

RAW

This week’s RAW opens with a highlight package for SummerSlam 2021, in which Bobby Lashley beat Goldberg, Charlotte Flair won the RAW Women’s Championship, and RK-Bro won the RAW Tag Titles. We go live to the arena and out comes MVP and the All Mighty WWE Champion, Bobby Lashley.

We see a replay of Lashley Vs. Goldberg, which culminated in Lashley putting the Hurt Lock on Goldberg’s son after the match. MVP says he’d like to address what happened. When Goldberg showed up on RAW to challenge Lashley they were both shocked. Now we all know about Goldberg’s extraordinary past and his not-to-extraordinary recent history. What they didn’t know was that Goldberg would bring his son Gage. Goldberg looked amazing at SummerSlam and he made the All Mighty back-up – Lashley took his sunglasses off to stare at MVP.

Yet all Goldberg did was anger the All Mighty. Goldberg got the holy Hell beat out of him and, for the first time in his career, got stopped. He didn’t have a leg to stand on and he quit. Which makes him a coward and Lashley retained. Then, for no reason, sometime attacked Lashley from behind. Like a coward. So Lashley did what he would do to anyone: put the hurt on them like he would anyone. MVP insults the fans and says they’re all cowards too. So, in case anyone thinks Lashley owes anyone an apology they can go to Hell.

The new United States Champion, Damian Priest, makes his way to the ring. Priest says Lashley and MVP are running their mouths, calling Goldberg a coward for getting injured yet Lashley beat him with a chair afterwards. Priest asks if Lashley feels like a big man and says he’s not jumping him from behind and he’s not a child, so he wants him in a match tonight. Priest says if Lashley doesn’t accept he’s the coward and Bobby attacks him. Lashley rips his jacket off and Priest kicks him out of the ring. MVP prevents Lashley getting back in the ring and says Priest has the match and it’s next!
