John Cena made his triumphant return at the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view back in July and immediately got involved in feud with Roman Reigns. Their feud culminated in the main event of WWE SummerSlam for the Universal Championship. Cena couldn’t defeat Roman Reigns, but he did get destroyed by former adversary Brock Lesnar after the conclusion of the event. Now it seems Cena still wants to contribute to the company.

It was previously reported that John Cena will be appearing on an upcoming episode of Friday Night Smackdown. After that, John Cena will no longer have any plans in the company as he’ll return to Hollywood.

John Cena already took to social media and informed fans that he will see them soon, after his shocking loss to Roman Reigns at WWE SummerSlam.

While speaking on Good Morning America, John Cena talked about his catch against Roman Reigns and revealed that he really wants to contribute to WWE again as soon as he’s finished with his Hollywood obligations.

“Unfortunately WWE doesn’t give a silver medal. I think I will try to do the best I can until I feel I’m offending the consumer. There’s nothing like the energy of being in that ring with the audience around. I’ve had the fortunate opportunity to do a whole lot of stuff. That energy is indescribable. That place is my home. I wouldn’t be who I am without it. The audience is my family — I want to be kind to them — I still feel good even though I finished second so I still feel I have something to contribute.”

It was previously reported that John Cena will be appearing on an upcoming episode of Friday Night Smackdown. We will have to wait and see what John Cena will be doing during the episode and hope he will return to the compy as soon as possible as fans will surely miss him.
