Bianca Belair had a tremendous 2021 as her stock shot up after she won the Women’s Royal Rumble match earlier this year. The EST of WWE then went on to win Smackdown Women’s Championship after beating Sasha Banks in the main event of Night One of WrestleMania 37. That reign ended at SummerSlam after WWE bumped up Becky Lynch’s in-ring return.

Bianca Belair was scheduled to defend the Smackdown Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks at WWE SummerSlam, but Banks never showed up. Instead, Becky Lynch made her shocking return to WWE at the event.

Then Becky Lynch quickly dismantled Bianca Belair and beat her for the Smackdown Women’s Championship within 26 seconds with a Manhandle Slam. Unsurprisingly, fans were upset at this booking decision.

While speaking to during the SummerSlam after-party, Bianca Belair talked about her shocking defeat at the hands of Becky Lynch. Belair stated that she felt defeated and that it was a bittersweet moment. Belair then made it clear that she is coming for Lynch in order to regain her title.

“Right now, I’m just trying to collect my thoughts. Everything happened too quickly. I was ready to fight Sasha Banks, and Becky came out, which was an amazing moment. I’m happy to be a part of that, but I lost my title, and right now, I’m just emotional. I feel defeated. It was bittersweet, Becky Lynch, what she has accomplished inside and outside the ring. She is a legend in the making.

You can hear the pop from the crowd. It’s nothing like you’ve ever felt before. So, to be in the ring and feel all of that was amazing, but at the same time, I was the SmackDown Women’s Champion, and I know she was coming for my title. I can’t help but be a little sad about the situation and just ready to get in there and get my rematch because I deserve a rematch. You know, just hearing Becky Lynch’s name and the SmackDown Women’s champion in the same sentence makes me a little hyped up right now. I’m swaying back and forth; It makes me feel a certain way. I want my rematch. I’m going to go all in. I’m going to fight. I call myself the EST of WWE for a reason.”

We will have to wait and see how Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch’s feud is booked in the coming weeks. Fans definitely want to see the two duke it out in a proper match next time. Hopefully, WWE can figure out this situation as they booked the match in the last week to make up for Sasha Banks’ absence.
