WWE made the call to tape three weeks’ worth of NXT at once instead of airing live shows. This could be due to the brand’s new direction as Vince McMahon fills the black and gold brand with loads of younger, bigger wrestlers. That isn’t what USA Network paid for, and they aren’t very happy about the idea.

The Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast’s Andrew Zarian reported that USA executives are not pleased with WWE pre-taping so many episodes of NXT. It is unclear how long they plan to do this, but one source stated that, “a taped show is not what we paid for.”

He went on to say that this is not a confirmation that NXT will turn into a taped show. The company is planning to tape the next three weeks of television at once though.

Btw this is not a confirmation that NXT is going to being taped. Just what I was told when I asked regarding the Rumor

We will have to see what WWE’s intention is by taping so many episodes of NXT at once. They will take care of that after NXT TakeOver: 36 on Monday and Tuesday. Only time will tell if the trend continues.
