This Intercontinental Title match wasn’t without a bit of shenanigans. Both Rick Boogs and Commander Azeez were kicked out of the ringside area and they were forced to return to the back. This left the two competitors in the ring to has things out by themselves.

In the end, Shinsuke Nakamura nailed a Kinshasa and he pinned Crews for a three count. All Nakamura had to do at that point was celebrate. Now King Nakamura is also the Intercontinental Champion. It’s good to be the king.

This marks Nakamura’s second reign as WWE Intercontinental Champion. He previously held that title for 201 days in 2019 which he eventually lost to Braun Strowman.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
