Max Caster’s rap about Simone Biles and the Duke lacrosse team was not received very well at all. His name trended in big way and fans were not happy. This caused Tony Khan to make call that he will edit AEW Dark and AEW Dark Elevation from this point on. Now The Acclaimed have been removed from the company’s tag team rankings.

AEW suspended Max Caster and that isn’t the only action the company is taking. They have been removed from the company’s tag team rankings, a list they were working to climb up.

The Acclaimed were in the top 5 tag teams in AEW for several weeks. They rose to #2 in the rakings for a time, but then dropped down to #4. This controversy is costing them in a big way, and it’s not likely fans will see them perform for a bit.

Caster was also pulled from an indie show and The Acclaimed’s match was also edited out of AEW Dark this week. We will have to see what is next for the talented team, because many fans will certainly miss them.

Max Caster is still listed on the AEW roster page. He was not released by the company in any fashion, but his comments on the microphone is costing his team valuable time out of action.
