WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels is undoubtedly one of the best in-ring performers to have ever graced a WWE ring. He was touted as Mr. WrestleMania and he truly lived up to the moniker. He is a three-time WWE Champion, and he took that reign seriously. Jakes Roberts didn’t need that title to get by, and he is still a WWE Hall of Famer.

Shawn Michaels has always exceeded expectations when it comes to performing in a match and many say that he was so good inside the ring, that Michaels could even have a believable match with a broomstick.

WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart is also regarded as one of the best in-ring pro wrestlers to have ever laced up a pair of boots. Both he and Michaels were at the top of WWE during the mid-90s, which was one of the worst periods for the company.

While speaking to Perched On The Top Rope, Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts talked about Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart in WWE, stating that the two were the only ones who thought they actually ‘won’ the top title as opposed to everyone being aware it was simply due to WWE’s booking.

“If you’ve got to that point, where you’re recognized and you are, then dude just go do your job. Come on man. I mean, let’s be honest, Bret and Shawn Michaels were the only two guys thought they won the title anyway. Everybody else knows different. So, we will leave it at that, man. And no disrespect to them, they both worked their butts off and truly loved the business, and Jake ‘The Snake’ didn’t need [a title belt],”

Shawn Michaels retired for good after his WrestleMania 26 match against The Undertaker, barring a tag team match at Crown Jewel 2018. He is now engaged in helping improve NXT in a backstage role while Bret Hart is enjoying his life after retirement from or wrestling.
