Vince McMahon is a very busy man and it’s rare to get a moment of his time. A meeting with McMahon is something that people wait in the hallway for hours to attain as well. Peyton Royce was released from WWE in April, but she remembers meeting with McMahon. She also recalls how he rejected her pitches.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Cassie Lee explained exactly what went on during that meeting with Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard.

“I just went in there with what I wanted to present and we moved on from it so quickly. In my head, I was like, ‘How can I steer this conversation back to that’ because I thought something was there and I hadn’t explained it properly. I don’t believe that is the reason I got fired because I sat in the room with (Vince) and Bruce (Prichard) for 45 minutes tossing out ideas.”

“What we had come up with was, I would be a motivational speaker. Vince loved how much I had sacrificed to be there and I didn’t want anything else in my life other than to work for him. He loved that and was so thankful for what I had sacrificed; my family, everything in Australia, my whole life. That’s what we had come up with. Obviously, nothing ever came of it. That conversation wasn’t like a complete dud. From my perspective, it was like, ‘Damn, this is what I wanted to present and move forward with.’ There’s nothing I don’t think I could have done because I friggin’ tried everything.”

Instead of pulling the trigger on one of those creative concepts, Vince McMahon didn’t do much with Peyton Royce before he released her in April. Her IIconics tag team partner Billie Kay was also a part of those cuts. We’ll have to see what’s next for both of them, but they will likely benefit any roster they land on.
