Finn Balor Wants Triple Threat Match With Roman Reigns & John Cena At WWE SummerSlam

Finn Balor is a former 2-time NXT Champion and has competed in high profile matches since his return to NXT back in 2019. Before that, Balor was working in the main roster for a few years, where he was not utilized well.

After making his return to Friday Night Smackdown last month, Finn Balor made it clear he wants to win the WWE Universal Championship again. On last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Finn Balor was almost set to face off against Roman Reigns at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view, but it got interrupted by Baron Corbin.

As a result, John Cena got the opportunity to face Roman Reigns instead. While speaking to WWE Die Woche, Finn Balor talked about possibly facing Roman Reigns and John Cena at WWE SummerSlam, stating that it would be fantastic.

“Well, I’m not sure if the possibility of a Triple-Threat at SummerSlam is off the cards right now so, if we could somehow finagle that, that would be fantastic but if not, obviously the one reason I’m in SmackDown is to become Universal Champion so you know, Roman Reigns is who I want.

After the events of last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Finn Balor is likely going to feud with Baron Corbin for the time being. We will have to wait and see whether Finn Balor will be included in the SummerSlam match or not.
