Adam Cole’s contract situation is very interesting. His deal reportedly expired in July and now fans are waiting for his next move. It appears he will be in Tampa to speak with Vince McMahon before SmackDown this week.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Adam Cole is scheduled to be backstage at SmackDown this week. He isn’t booked on the show, but he has a “high level meeting” with Vince McMahon scheduled.

Beyond that, WWE sources have indicated that Cole is scheduled to be backstage at tonight’s episode of WWE Smackdown for what is being called a “high level meeting” with Vince McMahon. We have not been told that Cole is planned to appear on the show.

It was previously reported that WWE has not offered long term deal to Adam Cole, but that could very well change today. We previously reported that Tony Khan has denied offering any deal to the former NXT Champion.
