WWE will move their Superstars around at times and there doesn’t have to really be a reason for Vince McMahon’s decision. Shane Thorne saw a trade to SmackDown after Retribution split up, and Slapjack was on the blue brand. That was a surprise to him

According to a report from Fightful Select, Slapjack was moved to SmackDown without WWE telling him. He started showing up on the depth charts for the other brand and he had no knowledge that it was happening. His name is also listed as Slapjack still.

The move was done even without his knowledge, and he started to appear on the internal roster sheets and depth charts, where wrestlers then informed him. Slapjack hasn’t appeared on Raw or SmackDown whatsoever since WrestleMania, and is still listed under that gimmick.

Slapjack was in a dark match prior to SmackDown on June 24th, but ha hasn’t been in a match since the Andre The Giant Memorial battle royal during the SmackDown before WrestleMania.

Hopefully, WWE can use Slapjack under that gimmick, or as Shane Thorne, very soon. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for him.
