AEW is bringing in CM Punk and Bryan Danielson to join a roster that is growing already. They almost had another WWE Hall of Famer with a couple Olympic gold medals to boot. According to Angle himself, AEW offered him a deal for another run.

While speaking to Fightful, Kurt Angle revealed that AEW offered him a deal to come in and wrestle. It was said that they offered him another chance to have some matches after his WrestleMania retirement bout against Baron Corbin. He was flattered by the deal, but it didn’t happen.

He was offered a deal to come in to All Elite Wrestling for a “run” after his retirement. He said that he was flattered by the offer, but wasn’t considering it because he’s too beat up physically to compete at the level he once did.

Impact Wrestling also had an offer on the table to Angle to come back and apply his trade. That offer from Impact Wrestling was only supposed to be a “one shot deal,” but AEW had more in mind than one match.

Right now it seems that Kurt Angle is doing just fine on his own. You can never say never in pro wrestling, but Kurt Angle turned down both offers from AEW and Impact Wrestling for now.
