AEW is about to add two huge names to their roster, but Tony Khan isn’t talking about it. CM Punk hasn’t wrestled in six years, but that will change soon enough. Daniel Bryan is also locked into making his way to AEW when the time is right to pull the trigger on his debut.

While talking to the New York Post, Tony Khan was straight-up asked about AEW’s interest in bringing in more former WWE Champions like Daniel Bryan and CM Punk. His answer was nothing but an expert dodge, because he can’t talk about them right now.

I have no comment on those, but those are good questions but I can’t comment on those.

When asked about what it would mean to AEW if Bryan Danielson and CM Punk came in, he dodged that question as well. “I can’t comment on those two guys, but I think there are certainly a lot of exciting rumors right now,” Tony Khan replied.

Bodyslam.net has confirmed that Bryan Danielson signed with AEW, and Ringside News also confirmed that CM Punk has inked a deal with the company. This was followed by CM Punk having some fun on Twitter by following some AEW names, but he also followed Vince McMahon.

Punk might be doing some subversive trolling on social media, but Tony Khan isn’t going to talk about CM Punk and Bryan Danielson right now.

What’s your take on AEW’s booking? Do they need CM Punk and Bryan Danielson? Sound off in the comments!
