Charlotte Flair is one of the top female WWE Superstars in the company and has competed in many historic matches throughout her career. On top of that, she has won a WWE Women’s Title 11 times in her career so far.

Charlotte Flair has been largely criticized for getting undeserved title opportunities and title runs that should have gone to other more-deserving WWE Superstars. This continues to draw the ire of fans as she gets thrust into every conceivable title picture imaginable.

Charlotte Flair and Asuka were formerly rivals a few years ago in WWE. In fact, Flair was the one who handed Asuka her first loss on the main roster back at WrestleMania 34.

While speaking to Ryan Satin on Out of Character, Charlotte Flair talked about her favorite opponent to put the Figure Eight on. Flair named Asuka as her favorite opponent to put it on and added that her match against Asuka at WrestleMania 34 took her to the next level.

“It’s not that I like putting her in it, but I really feel that my match with Asuka took me to the next level, when I broke her streak at WrestleMania. She had nothing to prove and someone who works backstage, who I’m super close to, thought I was going to lose. I was like, ‘I was the underdog?’ Putting Asuka in the figure eight was my favorite.”

Charlotte Flair lost the RAW Women’s Title after Nikki A.S.H cashed in her Money In The Bank contract on this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. It is likely she will want a match against A.S.H very soon.
