Big E is undoubtedly one of the top Superstars on Friday Night Smackdown and had been on the receiving end of a push for the past few months as a singles competitor.

It would see him win the WWE Intercontinental Championship last year and he had a solid run as the champion before losing it to Apollo Crews at WrestleMania 37.

However, Big E remains an integral part of The New Day as he made a name for himself as part of the group and has had several memorable moments with them throughout the years.

While speaking to Corey Graves’ After The Bell podcast, Big E credited Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods after his Money In The Bank win. Big E also made it clear that he won’t be a singles wrestler forever as Big E still has more to do with The New Day.

“Even though I’m on my own, I’m on my own show, I don’t get here without The New Day, without Kofi and Woods. The love we still have for each other, the support we still have for each other, it hasn’t wavered at all. In my mind, everything that I do still adds to our legacy as a trio, and that’s important to me. As honored and humbled as I am being voted the greatest tag team of all time, we still have more work to do. We still want to add to that résumé.”

We will have to wait and see when Big E will cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase and if he will return to being a tag team competitor with The New Day.
