Smith made it very clear in a video after SmackDown that he is back in WWE. It is unknown how he will be booked on television at this point, but he is back. According to PW Insider, the British Bulldog’s son actually inked a new deal with WWE, possibly, as far back as March.

Smith was signed as early as this past March, but he and WWE kept the signing quiet until the timing was right for him to officially return to the company.

He has not returned to television yet, so Smith could be on RAW or SmackDown at this point. It is unknown how WWE will utilize his veteran experience, but he traveled the globe during his time away from WWE and now he is back to show the WWE Universe what he has in learned.
