Hit Row has taken over NXT and it looks like their momentum is just picking up steam. Swerve Scott leads his stable into battle as NXT North American Champion with a theme song that is certain to get stuck in many fans’ brains.

While speaking to After The Bell, Scott revealed how quickly the Hit Row stable came together. This didn’t take a ton of effort since Top Dolla, Ashante Thee Adonis, and B-Fab were already working as a trio at house shows. Those live events went away and they remained backstage until the moment it was time for them to debut with a new leader.

“The way it came about is very simple. It wasn’t a long constructed idea. There was Top Dolla, Ashante Thee Adonis, and B-Fab. They were performing something called The Hit Makers as their own trios group. They were together about eight months and doing a lot of the in-house shows together. It was a project they were feeling out but Ashante was still doing 205 Live and AJ Francis was doing WWE Treasures, so scheduling wise it was hard to get them to come together at the same time. I was transitioning from the Cruiserweight Title stuff to doing my own thing and doing something different and unique myself,” he said.

We’ll have to wait on Hit Row’s next move, because it looks like they are set up to battle with Legado De Fantasma at this moment. You also never know what can happen in WWE, because the NXT landscape could get shaken up in a hurry with one phone call from Vince McMahon.
