Sheamus Shows Off New Mask Before WWE RAW

Sheamus broke his nose which is why the US Champion went so long without defending his title. Now he is set to defend the championship against Humberto Carrillo this week, the same man who broke his nose. RAW is not live, because it was taped last Tuesday. They are already out of the ThunderDome, but they won’t leave until Sheamus debuts a new mask.

The Celtic Warrior has a clear face mask that he was using, but he went for an upgrade. Sheamus’ mask is now black and it presents a much more menacing appearance while keeping his nose safe from stray kicks.

“Tonight, I defend,” Sheamus posted on Instagram while showing off his new black mask. He also posted for a backstage photo with this new mask which you can find below.

We’ll have to see how long Sheamus keeps this mask on WWE television. It could always become a part of his character, causing him to wear it for far longer than the doctor suggests.
