Joey Ryan’s name was brought up several times during the #SpeakingOut movement and he was blackballed from pro wrestling. Any mention of him being involved with a show now brings a public outcry. He is trying hard to repair his reputation and recently shared a very personal moment with fans.

The former King Of Sleaze was baptized over the weekend. He shared a few photos of the experience along with a brief caption explaining how it was “the perfect time to leave my past in the water.” He seemed very happy in the photos.

I got baptized as a small child but decided yesterday was the perfect time to leave my past in the water. Thank you #ZoeLA. God is good!

We will have to see if Joey Ryan makes a re-entry into the pro wrestling world. A lot of fans will never accept him again, and they have made that clear. He is still grinding away at becoming an actor and pursuing any opportunity available for him. Now he is doing so with a replenished dose of faith.
