Paul Orndorff passed away at the age of 71-years-old and the pro wrestling world is mourning the loss of a great man. Orndorff was a huge part of WWE history, competing in the main event of the first WrestleMania event. Tons of people are remembering the pro wrestling legend today.

Hulk Hogan was “slammed” when he heard the terrible news about Orndorff’s passing. He sent out a dedication tweet for his old foe to remember the times they shared in the ring.

Just got slammed with the Paul Orndorff news, RIP my brother, love you and thank you for always making me fight for everything in our matches, heaven just got even more Wonderful, love U4LifeHH

CM Punk shared a memory of watching Paul Orndorff own a crowd with his brilliant work. He also has a Mr. Wonderful autographed mask somewhere in his home. “Damn. Orndorff. I went to a wcw house show at the uic pavilion once. Maybe 95ish. Him and Sherri were the best on that show with working the crowd. Think I have his autograph on a patriot mask somewhere. Rest in power Mr. Wonderful.”

The pro wrestling world will continue to send dedications and memorials for Paul Orndorff. He is gone, but never forgotten. RIP.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
