Impact Wrestling is set to bring Slammiversary to fans on July 17th, and a big surprise or two is expected during that show. We can rule out one person at this point.

Deonna Purrazzo will defend the Knockouts Title against a mystery opponent at Slammiversary. There area few names floating around out there, because WWE just fired a lot of people from their roster in the last few months.

Aleister Black’s WWE non-compete clause ending in 30 days made a lot of fans wonder if anyone else received the same treatment. According to Fightful Select, we can rule out Ruby Soho. Ruby, who just trademarked The Runaway, is not Purrazzo’s mystery opponent for Slammiversary according to a new report.

There are no details about Ruby’s non-compete clause, but “we also haven’t heard of any bookings being set for Ruby publicly.” Purrazzo’s mystery opponent is not currently on the Impact Wrestling roster, but Ruby Soho, formerly Ruby Riott, is not the one.
