Ruby Riott Might Have Swerved Fans On Her New Name

Ruby Riott was released from WWE and plenty of fans were shocked by that decision. Now the former leader of the Riott Squad is awaiting her non-compete clause’s expiration. It also seemed that she picked a new name in the process.

Riott changed her name to Ruby Soho on social media after confirming that she will not be returning to the Heidi Lovelace name. That was followed by a trademark filing that point toward a totally different direction.

Ruby has filed a trademark for The Runaway. This was done in the fashion that most pro wrestling trademarks are registered. “Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer,” was explicitly mentioned in the filing.

While it is possible that Ruby Soho could be her name and her new nickname is The Runaway, this certainly points at Ruby going by a brand new name for sure.
