WWE is bringing their show back to the World’s Most Famous Arena, but unvaccinated fans won’t be allowed in the door. MSG is requiring that fans present a proof of vaccination before they are allowed into WWE’s next SmackDown event at their venue.

Friday Night SmackDown on September 10th will emanate from MSG, but the building is being extra careful. The official Madison Square Garden Twitter account posted a notice about tickets going on sale, and they also advised that fans need to be vaccinated as well.

Get presale tickets starting tomorrow, July 8 at 10am with code SOCIAL. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Fri, July 9 at 10am.

Please Note: All guests over the age of 16 will need to be fully vaccinated for this event and provide proof upon entry.

This is the first venue that we’ve heard about that is requiring vaccination prior to entering an event. We will have to see if this causes any issues, because the topic of vaccination is still a very hot conversation starter with many fans.

What’s your take on MSG requiring vaccinations before entering the building? Sound off in the comments!

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
