WWE is an attractive destination for a lot of people, but Moose re-signed with Impact Wrestling recently. That left WWE without someone that they legit had their eye on, but they weren’t looking to bring him into NXT.

Few Superstars jump NXT at this point, but Moose was apparently in line to get that treatment if he inked a deal with Vince McMahon’s company.

According to a report from Fightful WWE wanted Moose on the main roster. It was not noted whether they were looking for him to join RAW or SmackDown specifically.

We’re told that there were hope that Moose could get signed and head straight to the main roster,

Impact Wrestling made “a huge play” for Moose and he stayed with them. There was never an offer made, but WWE was very interested. Now Moose will remain with Impact Wrestling and not take a chance with WWE.

Moose dropped a big tease a couple of months ago that his Impact deal was up in June. He signed a new multi-year contract prior to it expiring. It was said to be a “substantial” increase from his previous arrangement.

Is Moose winning the Impact Wrestling World Title soon? Sound off in the comments!
