Aleister Black’s WWE Status Following Zelina Vega’s Return

Aleister Black was released from WWE and there was reportedly “release remorse,” but there is no progress on bringing him back to the company. That won’t stop fans from speaking out about how much they want him back.

Black’s name trended on Twitter in big way following his wife’s return. Zelina Vega was the one who came back to WWE, but her husband was released in the period of time she was away. Now fans are calling for them both to make a return.

Despite fan sentiment, Fightful Select confirmed that Aleister Black is still released. As of now he is still not on any internal roster which would indicate that he has made a return.

Zelina has been listed as a “Smackdown heel” on the roster sheet for “almost a month.” Ringside News reported in May that the intention was to bring Zelina Vega back to the main roster, and she made that big return during SmackDown this week.
