Chris Jericho Calls Out WWE Superstars For Mocking His Bump In Blood & Guts Match

Last month’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw The Inner Circle take on The Pinnacle in the first-ever ‘Blood & Guts’ match and it was certainly a very brutal affair, nothing short of an all-out war.

When all was said and done, The Pinnacle emerged victorious. However, the reception to the match was very mixed as many fans didn’t like the ending to the match which saw Chris Jericho falling from the cage.

WWE Superstars such as Shotzi Blackheart mocked Chris Jericho’s bump off the cage. While speaking on a Saturday Night Special, Chris Jericho once again address the critics of the bump that he took at the end of the match.

Chris Jericho singled out a couple of female WWE superstars who made fun of the bump, stating that they probably said something they should not have as they will ask AEW for a job in six months and Chris Jericho will remember what they said.

So people laugh at that sort of stuff but there’s no reason to because this is the real deal and it can happen at any time. Best of luck to anybody in our business, and anybody that bags on somebody who’s taking a chance and putting their bodies on the line can really fuck off. Especially people in the business. I could say some names. There’s a couple of chicks in WWE who said some stuff and they should probably not have said that. They probably weren’t trained any better, and in 6 months they’ll probably be asking us for a job anyways and I’ll remember that, so we’ll leave it at that.”

Chris Jericho is currently carrying on his feud with The Pinnacle as part of The Inner Circle as it is unlikely to end anytime soon.
