WWE released Ever Rise from their contracts this week, but the show must go on for everyone involved. It turns out that WWE released them at a very unfortunate time as Matt Martel’s wife Stacy is also pregnant.

Ever Rise popped up on social media for another short program. This time they addressed the elephant in the room. Before they could, Chase Parker brought attention to who was working the camera, it was Matt’s wife.

“That is your wife, your pregnant expecting wife,” Parker quipped.

“Our show has been cancelled. That’s what happens when you get in bed with the fat cats, you get on YouTube. We took all the money and it went real sour,” Martel said in his usual comedic way.

The pair made it very clear that the show was cancelled, but they are already “looking for a new network.”

Ever Rise are not done, but that name will likely never be seen again. The two can go back to 3.0 now, and odds are they will continue lighting up the pro wrestling world and social media at the same time.

What’s your take on Ever Rise? Are they going to end up in AEW? Sound off in the comments!
