Bayley did not win the SmackDown Women’s Title at Hell in a Cell, but she made Bianca Belair look incredible in the process. The KOD finisher on a ladder to close out the match was enough to make fans cringe, but a ton of them also jumped on Twitter to praise Bayley.

Bayley’s name trended on social media following Hell in a Cell. Tons of fans commented about her performance to praise the former SmackDown Women’s Champion as she fought hard to reclaim that title. It was not Bayley’s night, but social media put her over in a huge way.
Cassie Lee, the former Peyton Royce, certainly misses sharing a locker room with Bayley. She was paying close attention to tonight’s pay-per-view, and she commented to say, “If Bayley isn’t your favourite wrestler, you’re wrong.”
Other fans brought up how consistent Bayley is with her performances in the ring, especially during Hell in a Cell matches. The title was not hers by the end of the night, but Bayley certainly won over a ton of fans.
It is evident that fans respect Bayley’s efforts. She carried the SmackDown Women’s Division through the pandemic, but Vince McMahon didn’t give her a match at WrestleMania. This loss to Bianca Belair at Hell in a Cell certainly won’t be the final big match situation she sees either.
