WWE has a lot of plans as they prepare for a return to live touring, and Becky Lynch could be a big part of what they have in store. The Man hasn’t come around yet, but she is making big steps to get closer to that return date.
Lynch was spotted at the WWE Performance Center this week. She took in some PC matches and plenty of fans were very excite about her possible return. It was also reported that those who saw her said she was looking “jacked.”
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that Becky Lynch was at the June training. WWE is requiring Superstars to go in for additional training, and that might have been what The Man was there to do. She has a lot of options, and doesn’t have to come back, but she obviously wants to continue where she left off.
“She was at the June training, yeah.”
“You know, I mean she did sign a new contract not that long ago. To me, when she signed that new contract — you know you never know what someone’s gonna do after having a kid, especially for her. Because if you need the two incomes to make it work, it’s one thing, but both of them are making so much money, Seth Rollins and her, that it’s not like they’re going to be destitute if she wants to come back, but she’s wanted to do this her entire life and she reached a peak of everything and she’s a bigger star than I’m sure she ever dreamed she’d be. She left in the middle of a great run, so if she comes back then this is the time. There was talk of her months ago coming back, so I think it was, to me, when she signed a new deal, it was when. Probably sooner than later.”
Ringside News exclusively reported that Becky Lynch signed a new WWE contract just after WrestleMania. That seemed to guarantee that The Man will be coming back around again.
WWE could bring Becky Lynch back in time for live television once again when the company starts their live touring. That could be a very interesting decision, but the big question is how they will use her as so many things around WWE have changed since The Man relinquished her RAW Women’s Title to Asuka after Money in the Bank last year.
