Dominik Mysterio Might Not Be Back On SmackDown For A While

Dominik Mysterio took quite a fall last week as Roman Reigns powerbombed him to the floor over the top ropes during SmackDown. That fall use a crash pad in reality, but Dom might not be back to sell those injuries.

SmackDown opened up this week with Rey Mysterio cutting a promo on Roman Reigns. He brought up how the Head of the Table took Dominik for a ride last week. In the process, Mysterio then said that he doesn’t know when Dominik will be back.

Mysterio also said that he’ll never forget the sound of Dominik’s body hitting the floor. They were really selling the devastating punishment that move from Roman Reigns did on Mysterio.

This might be a short stay off television for Rey Mysterio’s son, but the company could decide to keep 1/2 of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions out of action for even longer. Then again, that line could have simply been a reason why Dominik was not on SmackDown to get involved in his father’s Universal Title Match.
