Xavier Woods is a former King of The Ring winner but he isn’t part of the upcoming tournament. However, his tag team partner Kofi Kingston is, and now Woods decided to call out WWE for botching Kingston’s name.

During the Backlash Premium Live Event, WWE officially revealed the first round brackets for the King and Queen of The Ring tournaments, which will take place on Monday Night RAW next week. For the men, Finn Bálor will take on Drew McIntyre, Gunther will face Sheamus, Ilja Dragunov will take on Ricochet and Kofi Kingston will square off against Rey Mysterio.

Xavier Woods took to Twitter and made it clear how the King of The Ring tournament is special to him and supported Kofi Kingston in his quest to win it this time. However, he also called out WWE for botching Kofi Kingston’s name, as they incorrectly spelt his name as ‘Kingson.’

”You all know how important King of the Ring has always been to me. I’m not in the tournament this year but my brother Kofi has the chance to gain the crown. BRING IT HOME FOR NEW DAY!

Also please spell his name correctly on the next graphic.”

We will have to wait and see whether Kofi Kingston will be able to defeat The Master of The 619 on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW, as fans will likely be behind Rey Mysterio in the bout.
