Sami Callihan was in the opening match of the night, one that his team won. Then he showed up in Jacksonville, and 8 hour drive from Nashville, at the end of the show. That was confusing enough, but then Don Callis, who is not really an Impact executive any more, fired Callihan.

It didn’t take Impact Wrestling’s social media team long to fall in line with Sami Callihan’s firing. They promptly unfollowed him on Twitter, something that Callihan called out in a big way.

“Now officially UNFOLLOWED by the Impact Wrestling account,” Callihan tweeted out before adding, “How cute.” He doesn’t seem 100% thrilled about this situation, but that’s also understandable.

We will have to see how this situation turns out for everyone involved. As of this writing, Sami Callihan is still set to face Kenny Omega for the Impact Wrestling World Title at Slammiversary on July 17th.
