WWE just announced that Las Vegas will get the SummerSlam event in August, but their next big event is slated for November, and now we know what they are thinking for Survivor Series.

Last year’s Survivor Series event, which featured the Undertaker’s Final Farewell, took place in the ThunderDome. That will not be the case this year. Andrew Zarian from the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast reported that WWE is thinking about taking Survivor Series back to New York, Brooklyn specifically.

The Wrestling Observer Observer also noted that there is hope that The Rock will show up, but that has not been locked down yet.

It was not outright stated that the Barclays Center will be the venue, but that only makes sense. WWE has used the Barclays Center for tons of big events in previous years.

SummerSlam considered Brooklyn home for a while, and they have also held some great TakeOvers there. Now it appears that WWE is preparing to bring Survivor Series to the city that never sleeps.
