WWE let Buddy Murphy go along with many more. Some recently released WWE Superstars might have a tougher time adjusting to the indie scene than others. Braun Strowman is charging 5-figures to work an indie show. Others, like Buddy Murphy, might just set the indie wrestling scene on fire.
It wasn’t noted how much Buddy Murphy is charging to make a show, but he might have a lot a money to be made on the indies. PW Insider reports that Murphy has a ton of interest from indie promoters all over.
The word going around is that Murphy is thought to be a guy who can pull off tons of dream matches on the indies. There are a lot of matches that fans would really like to see, and the belief is that Murphy will be able to bring a great performance out of many people.
Fans might see Buddy Murphy’s schedule fill up in rapid fashion once his non-compete clause is over. We’ll have to see how long he is out there on the indies working full-time before someone locks him own with a larger contract.
