WWE SummerSlam 2021 Location Confirmed

WWE turned a lot of heads when it was announced that SummerSlam will be on Saturday, August 21st. Their reported Las Vegas venue, Allegiant Stadium, was up in the air and WWE had many NFL stadiums that they were looking at. The official announcement is expected during to Belmont Stakes preshow on NBC today.

According to Fightful Select, they have confirmed that Las Vegas will remain SummerSlam’s August 21st venue. The company is expected to confirm this announcement shortly.

The company did consider other locations after Manny Pacquiao’s next fight was announced on that same night. After all, WWE SummerSlam won’t be the hottest ticket in town with that big fight going on.

There were other cities in the running, specifically following the announcement of Pacquiao’s fight that same weekend in Las Vegas.

WWE originally picked the Saturday date at Allegiant Stadium’s request. It should also be noted that Asuka seemingly spoiled this big announcement yesterday.
