Former WWE Superstar Andrade had a solid run in NXT where he even won the NXT Championship, but his main roster run in comparison left much to be desired. He was finally granted his WWE release after WWE Fastlane back on March 21st.

Since his release, fans have been wondering which pro wrestling promotion Andrade will call home next. That question was finally answered on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, as Andrade El Idolo made his debut on the show.

The entire pro wrestling world were shocked but also elated at Andrade appearing in AEW. As he had no non-compete clause after his WWE release, Andrade was able to debut so early.

Andrade now commented on his AEW debut as he took to Instagram and uploaded a post, featuring a couple of photos and stated that he has new opportunities to achieve in AEW.

The NEW ANDRADE EL IDOLO. New goals. New opportunities to achieve. More Success. Thank you so much for great introduction @guerrero_vickie thanks for the wonderful welcome @allelitewrestling @aewontnt Nuevas metas. Nuevos rivales. Recuerden lo valioso que son y lo muchos que luchan por cada una de sus metas. Ve y busca el éxito, el éxito no está en el locker room!

With Andrade being one of the most talented pro wrestlers in the world right now, the number of dream matches he can have in AEW is near limitless. We will have to see how he will be booked by the company.
