WWE produced NXT from Full Sail University for years. The college’s students were also used as part of the crew, but then WWE had to leave during the pandemic. The Capitol Wrestling Center is now NXT’s home, a renovated Performance Center Arena. It doesn’t appear that NXT is returning to Full Sail now.

During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez mentioned that he heard NXT is not returning to Full Sail University. Plans can always change, but that doesn’t seem to be in the cards right now.

“I was given the impression that they’re not going back to Full Sail. That’s the impression I was given, I don’t know, plans change all the time in this company. People say they don’t, but they do. I don’t think they’re going back to Full Sail.”

WWE spent a lot of money creating the Capitol Wrestling Center. Those 500 Full Sail Arena fans are likely not returning. Jim Valley, who was co-host of the show, chimed in and said he also heard that NXT is not returning.

It’s not clear if WWE will keep NXT in their new venue, but they don’t appear to be making a return to Full Sail Arena.
