Aleister Black was released from WWE weeks after the company brought him back to television. This was shocking move and many fans do not understand the reason. Black revealed himself that his WWE release was due to “budget cuts.”

According to Fightful Select, WWE writers were told to stop writing things for Black. Those pitches were stopped recently, but they were not given a reason why.

It was also said that any plans WWE had for Aleister Black and Big E were going nowhere. Black had just returned and ruined Big E’s hopes of retaining the IC Title.

Aleister Black was brought back to TV to kick off a feud with Big E, which we’re told had no long-term endgame, and many of those associated with putting together the story didn’t even know that he was being released. Recently, creative was told to stop making pitches for Black, but weren’t told why.

The situation with Zelina Vega is very interesting. The company had her back and filmed things with her and Simone Johnson at the WWE Performance Center. The endgame was to get her back on the main roster. It is unknown if those plans pertained to Black at this time.

We will have to see what is next for Aleister Black. He has already changed his Twitter name to Tommy End again, so fans need to get used to hearing that name.

Will Tommy End kick a hole through AEW? Sound off in the comments!
