Braun Strowman was released from his WWE contract today. It was previously reported that WWE was making some big cuts, and that happened today. The Monster Among Men is no longer with the company.

According to a report from Fightful, Braun Strowman was among the names of WWE Superstars who was released today. This marks the former Universal Champion’s end with the company.

Strowman worked hard to get a chiseled physique in recent memory. He was also a part of some high profile matches. It seemed that when he showed up in the main event it was quickly followed by time in catering.

Braun Strowman started in WWE in 2013 on the NXT brand. He didn’t get a lot of exposure as WWE hid him away in the Performance Center. Then he made his big debut as part of the Wyatt Family. It was quite a journey for Strowman, but now his time in WWE is over.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
