MJF is undoubtedly one of the best heels in the pro wrestling world right now and his character has only continued to develop during his time in AEW. He quickly cemented himself as a top star and has been a mainstay of AEW television since the debut of AEW Dynamite back in 2019.

He is dedicated to his character as he never breaks kayfabe, inside or outside the squared circle, and his promo skills only continue to improve with each day.

While speaking to Inside The Ropes, MJF talked about the return of a live audience at AEW Double or Nothing. MJF revealed that he misses the pandemic era of pro wrestling as back then he didn’t have to look at the ‘disgusting’ crowd.

“I think a part of me is definitely going to miss pandemic wrestling because I didn’t have to, let’s be honest, I just didn’t have to look at all of these disgusting people and now we’re going to be going to different states – a lot of them are in the South [MJF mimics putting a gun in his mouth] and I’m not looking forward to it at all. But I’m glad everybody else is stoked and happy about having a crowd back.”

MJF will be competing as part of the Pinnacle, as they are set to square off against The Inner Circle in a Stadium Stampede match at AEW Double Or Nothing on May 30th. If the Inner Circle loses, they will have to disband forever. We will have to see if The Pinnacle will defeat the Inner Circle once again or not.
