When the Joker card was drawn, Lio Rush’s name appeared on the screen. A packed Daily’s Place was incredibly happy to see him. He made his way to the ring and received “LIO” chants as he worked.

Rush did not win the match as the heel Private Party eliminated him, possibly starting a new rivalry. Lio Rush’s elimination drew a ton of boos from the live crowd.

Lio Rush was a big surprise for AEW, but other names were obviously expected as well. It is not known what kind of deal Lio Rush has at this time, but he would make a fine addition to the AEW roster.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
