Darby Allin lost the TNT Title to Miro, and that was a bit of a shock for some fans. Now the Best Man is TNT’s champion and he has a match against Lance Archer at Double or Nothing. Allin’s dance card for Double or Nothing is not empty as he is teaming with Sting to take on Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky. When it comes to losing the TNT Title, Allin thought it was time.

Wrestling Perspective Podcast recently had a chance to speak with Darby Allin. He was “hyped” to lose that TNT Title because he didn’t want to overstay his welcome in the main event.

“No, that’s a different story. I was hyped to go out when I did because I was having those string of main events and we were drawing good numbers when I was main eventing. I didn’t want to overstay my welcome. Like, ‘What the f*ck, when’s this guy gonna lose?’ I didn’t want to be that guy. I don’t have no ego when it comes to this. I was like, ‘Dude, I’m ready to roll out when I’m on top with it,’ so it was good. I really liked it.”

Darby Allin made it very clear that he will continue chasing the TNT Title. He wants that title more than the World Title, but it is Miro’s time as TNT Champion now.
