Miro defeated Darby Allin in decisive fashion this week on AEW Dynamite. It was a bad loss to take for Allin, but he was able to get up after that beating. Then he grabbed a microphone and addressed the fans who showed up to Daily’s Place.

Allin said that he doesn’t need to collect other titles, because he needs to TNT Championship. Then he promised to regain that title. He had the live crowd behind this statement as well.

“When I became TNT Champion I said it was the only championship that means anything to me, and I mean that 100%. People ask me, ‘when are you gonna win the big one? When are you gonna win the AEW Heavyweight Championship? I look them dead in the eye and say, ‘I don’t need that sh*t. I need the TNT Championship!'”

“I don’t need to collect any other belts from anywhere else in this world. I need the TNT Championship. And I guarantee you, every single one of you here, this is not the last time I am TNT Champion. Thank you for all the support. It means the world to me.”

Miro is now the TNT Champion and we will have to see what kind of champion he becomes. This is a big moment for the former Rusev as it marks his first title in AEW. They still have time to book a rematch for Double Or Nothing, and it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see them go in that direction.
