Tonight’s SmackDown will feature a Fatal 4 Way match for the Intercontinental Championship as champion Apollo Crews defends against Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Big E.

It should be interesting to see how things play out on tonight’s show.

SmackDown

SmackDown starts live in the ThunderDome with all the reigning champions on the stage. WWE official Sonya Deville stands in the ring. Deville says that starting in July, WWE will be leaving the ThunderDome and returning to the fans. Each champion is introduced one by one. When Apollo Crews is introduced, Commander Azeez says to cut the music. Crews says that he will be retaining his championship tonight, and that he will unleash destruction and annihilation on all of his opponents and they will all fall one by one. SmackDown Women’s Champion and Bianca Belair and Universal Champion Roman Reigns are introduced. Paul Heyman makes his way out in place of Reigns. Heyman says that this is not a parade of champions, but a parade of title holders. Heyman says that Reigns is not a title holder, but he is a champion, and the champion of not just SmackDown, but of all of WWE, and Heyman leaves to go to the back. Deville continues in the ring and calls for a round of applause for the champions, as Bayley runs from behind in the ring where she says she should be thanked for putting this company on her back. Bayley calls out The Mysterios, Natalya and Tamina and eventually Belair, who she calls no champion, but a criminal. Bayley then calls on Deville to strip Belair of her title. Belair makes her way to the ring and confronts Bayley, Bayley says it’s not time and Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler run in to assault Belair, which gets Natalya and Tamina to run in to the rescue before Jax, Baszler and Bayley get the upper hand.

Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler and Bayley VS Natalya, Tamina and Bianca Belair

The match begins with Jax and Tamina in the ring. Jax gets Tamina down in the corner and makes the tag to Baszler. Baszler goes for a quick cover for a two count, Baszler then tags in Bayley who hits a series of stomps to Tamina in the corner. Tamina is able to counter with a suplex and get to the corner to tag in Natalya. Natalya hits a suplex and attempts another which Bayley slips out off and slams natalya to the mat. Baszler is tagged in and she begins to work Natalya’s arms. Jax is tagged in and hits a power slam for a two count. Natalya makes her way to the corner to tag in Belair. Belair hits a spine buster to Baszler as Belair goes to the top rope, Jax and Bayley pull Baszler out of the ring as Belair shifts her focus and hits a dive to the outside to tag out all three of her opponents. As Belair is on the ground she shows signs of a knee injury.

Back live with Bayley stomping on Belair’s injured knee. Bayley then goes into an upper body submission hold, Belair is able to get Bayley off her and tag in Tamina. Tamina drives Bayley’s head into the corner and hits a power slam and Tamina the tags in Natalya who hits a release German suplex and Tamina is tagged back in and Tamina hits Bayley for a super kick and covers for a two count before Bayley is able to cause a rope break. Bayley is able to tag in Baszler who hits a knee strike and goes for the cover that Tamina breaks up. Belair is able to hit Baszler with a right hand. Bayley hits a Bayley to belly suplex to Belair on the outside. Baszler locks Natalya in the Kirifuda Clutch which causes Natalya to tap out.

Winners: Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler and Bayley

Big E is interviewed backstage. Big E says that tonight he will stand in the ring with former world champions and future hall of famers. Big E says that this is exactly what he asked for. He says he will walk out of the arena leaving no doubt that he is the rightful Intercontinental Champion.

Back live with a video segment of Aleister Black. Black again reads from Tales of the Dark Father. Black speaks of pain, and how the markings of pain reveal the truth. Black’s tattoos are shown off as markings of truth. Black says that you all live proudly in a cesspool of sins and denial and that it is part of your identity. Black says it is time to separate the weak from the strong.

King Corbin comes out to the ring as a video package airs of Shinsuke Nakaumra wearing Corbin’s stolen crown. Corbin grabs a mic and says that Nakamura is no king and that a real king respects the crown. Corbin calls out Nakamura as Ric Boogs shows up playing a guitar and introduces Nakamura while playing Nakamura’s theme song on his guitar.

King Corbin VS Shinsuke Nakamura

The match begins with Nakamura stomping Corbin in the corner. Corbin is able to power out of the corner and knock Nakamura to the mat. Nakamura hits a series of kicks, but on the last one, Nakamura’s leg is caught and Corbin hits Nakamura with a power bomb. Corbin locks in a choke hold on the mat. Nakamura is able to hit punches to the gut to break the hold, Nakamura springs off the ropes but gets caught by an elbow from Corbin that gets a two count. Nakamura hits a spin kick and a back stabber and covers for a two count. Nakamura goes for the Kinshasa but gets hit by a suplex for a two count. Corbin hits the deep six and covers for a two count. Corbin is distracted by Boogs playing his guitar as Nakamura is able to roll up Corbin for the three count.

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

Sonya Deville is interrupted backstage by Jimmy Uso who says The Usos want The Street Profits. Deville says that the match is on for next week’s SmackDown.

Roman Reigns makes his way out to the ring with Jey Uso and Paul Heyman by his side.

Back live with Kevin Owens backstage saying that he is going to live up to his prize fighter nickname and win the Intercontinental Championship later tonight.

Roman Reigns stands in the ring and is handed a mic by Paul Heyman. Reigns says that he believes himself to be a humble man, Reigns says he does not like to brag, and that he will take this moment to have his special council celebrate him. Heyman runs through the various challengers that Reigns has brought down in his reign as Universal Champion. Heyman then asks what else he may do for his Tribal Chief. Reigns demands Heyman brings out his cousin. As Heyman demands the time keeper play Jimmy Uso’s music, Cesaro makes his way out. Cesaro challenges Reigns to a Universal Championship match at Hell in a Cell. Seth Rollins attacks Cesaro from behind and Rollins begins to attack Cesaro’s injured arm as WWE officials drag Rollins off Cesaro. As Cesaro walks his way back, Rollins again runs out to attack Cesaro, Rollins hits the stomp on Cesaro on the outside of the ring as Rollins walks off but again runs back and hits another stomp to Cesaro. A medical crew brings out a stretcher and begins to help Cesaro.

SmackDown returns with Seth Rollins interviewed backstage, after saying he blacked out there and doesn’t know what happened to him, he spots Cesaro on a stretcher and grabs him and screams at him asking why Cesaro did this to him.

Dominik Mysterio VS Robert Roode

The match begins with Roode immediately driving Mysterio to the corner and hitting a suplex. Roode attempts another suplex but Mysterio counters with a roll up for a two count. Roode puts Mysterio on the corner and goes up there himself but is pushed off by Mysterio who hits a cross body off the top rope for a two count. Mysterio tries a tornado DDT off the ropes but is thrown off by Roode. Mysterio throws Roode into the ropes in the 619 position but Ziggler distratcs Mysterio who hits Ziggler with a super kick. Mysterio is eventually able to hit the 619 and a frog splash for the cover and the three count.

Winner: Dominik Mysterio

Jey Uso is walking backstage when he is met by Jimmy Uso who informs Jey of their match next week against the Street Profits. Jey is initially upset with Jimmy but is convinced it’s good for The Usos, but says he still needs to tell Roman Reigns about the match.

Back live in the ThunderDome with Jey Uso informing Reigns about the tag team match next week. Reigns takes issue with Jey reffering to Jimmy and him as “we” and says that Regins and Jey are the only “we” there is.

The Street Profits are shown backstage mocking The Usos. The Street Profits call out The Usos and tell them that they want the smoke.

Sami Zayn is interviewed backstage where he takes issue to being called a former Intercontinental Champion. Zayn again brings up the conspiracy against him and that no matter what, he will reclaim his Intercontinental Champipnship tonight.

Intercontinental Championship

Apollo Crews VS Kevin Owens VS Sami Zayn VS Big E

Our Intercontinental Championship match begins with Owens immediately running after Zayn. Crews and Big E eventually run into the brawl as Owens and Zayn go to the outside as Crews begins to attack Big E in the corner. Big E hits a big elbow to Crews as Owens runs in to hit Big E with a step up enziguri. Zayn runs in to attack owens from behind and Zayn drives Owens’ neck into the ropes as Big E runs up on the apron to throw Zayn outside the ring. Big E strikes both Zayn and Crews repeatedly on the apron and hits a splsh to both of them as Owens hits a top rope dive to Big E on the outside.

*Commercial break*

Back live with Big E and Apollo Crews in the ring. Crews hits a standing dropkick and the two go to the outside. Owens gets his head bounced off the steps by Crews. Crews goes to the other side of the ring and hits a standing moonsault to Big E. Zayn runs over to fight Crews and after an Irish Whi, Zayn jumps to the top of the barricade and hits a moonsault to Crews. owens throws Zayn into the ring and hits a swanton for a cover that is broken up by Big E. Crews runs in to attack Big E and Crews hits three consecutive German Suplexes and covers where Kevin Owens breaks it up. Zayn hits an exploder supler to Owens in the corner. Owens tries for a stunner but is rolled up by Zayn for a two count. Zayn puts Owens on the top rope and goes up top for a super ples but Owens counters with a fisherman’s brain buster for a cover that is broken up by Crews. Owens tries a stunner on the apron but Crews counters to throw Owens off the apron as Big E hits a spear through the ropes to leave all four men down outside the ring.

*Commercial break*

Our main event continues live with Crews hitting a suplex in the ring to Big E. Crews hits punches to Big E down on the mat. Big E reverses an irish Whip into a belly to belly suplex. Big E springs off the ropes but is hit by a big boot from Zayn. Zayn espaces the pop up powerbomb from Owens but Owens manages to hit the fisherman’s brain buster for a two count. Owens climbs to the top rope but is struck down by Crews. Big E hits a German Suplex to both Zayn and Crews and Owens hits Big E with a frog splash for a two count. Owens hits a lariat to Crews in the corner and hits a cannon ball to Zayn in the opposite corner. Zayn gets to his feet and hits the blue thunder bomb on Owens for a two count. Zayn goes to the top rope but is stopped by Crews. Big E picks up Zayn for the big ending but gets a super kick from Owens. Crews runs in and gets hit with a pop up powerbomb from Owens for a two count. Big E hits the big ending and covers but is dragged outside by Commander Azeez who throws Big E into the ring post. Big E gets back in the ring as the lights in the arena begin to go dark and out from a wall of smoke emerges Aleister Black. Black enters the ring and hits the black mass to Big E. As Black leaves the ring, Crews covers Big E for the three count.

Winner: Apollo Crews
